there's a never-ending show
taking place in my front yard
with a competition part that's impossible to win
they come in different shapes and sizes and colours
with masks and costumes
to only show the best sides of themselves
everyone is singing their songs
trying to impress the others
but noone is heard in this
cacophony and dissonance
i am in my back yard
playing honest games with my pets
it's a daydreamer's territory/a procrastinator's paradise
i'm not suffering from it
